Hello all.
I'm currently running an EPILOG mini 24, 40w. I'm an Army EOD tech that is responsible for running our engraver. I'm often times asked to engrave onto a knife like this one:
At 20s 100p, I'm getting an engraving that is dark and when in the right light can be seen.
My question for all of you, is there a way to get my engraving to be white/silver/anything that will stand out? Similar to how the SOG logo appears. Am I running it on the wrong speed/power settings? Is there a solution like Cermark/Thermark but does the opposite and makes an engraving bright?
I've only been messing with engraving for about a month now and I've done tons of research but haven't come up with a solution.
I appreciate all your help!
