Hi there,

Looking for some help with my redsail 60watt laser cutter.

I am using auto laser 2.2.5 software to create files.

Using it to cut 3mm timber veneer but having a problem with the cutting and burning lining up with the file I have created. I have set the origin to be in the top left corner when standing at the machine as I have read it is best to make the origin as close to the laser source otherwise the laser needs to work harder.

Finding that once the machine has completed the burning component of the file it is meant to go back to the origin and complete the cutting BUT these do not match the file we have created. It always ends up about 3-4mm off. Very frustrating.

Have tried moving the origin, which did nothing.

I have attached some photos to explain what I mean.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Did you use the relative position? And you can check above and beyond the work size?

There may be a
The first: laser focus problem
The second: the platform is not smooth
Third: all layer to set up the output

I think so.Your design have many layer different color, when you download the file to the machine, you not select all layer. You should check it.
