Need Help! can't import vectors ...

Hi all,
I'm brand new to the forum and I wish I could say I was starting off on a different note than having an issue! I've owned a cnc for a few years now, and I have JUST bought my first laser - the 5th Gen Full Spectrum laser (with the Retina Engrave software) to be exact. I'm hoping that someone is familiar with it. I'm still playing around with it doing some trials - I can't seem to get it to import files that can be vector cut. The manual states that to vector cut, use dxf files. I've tried creating dxf files with: VCarve Pro...Corel Draw and Inkscape and NONE of the dxf files will import into Retina Engrave - I get an error message that says "Vector Error No vector components found".

I'd appreciate it if someone may have an idea of what might be going wrong here.

He's already got it fixed Paul. The FS laser uses a Print Driver to send files to the controller. I can't believe its not covered in the manual.
