CheckMate King Laser/100watt

Hi, I am very new at Laser Engraving. Bought a CheckMate King Laser to help take care of my aged mom, so I could work at home. Been having trouble with the Y axis not moving. Contacted CM8 many times, but no response. Is there anyone near Branson, Missouri, or anyone who has had the same trouble who can help me PLEASE?
