Wobbly Lines

Hello everyone

This summer we set up our EleksLaser A3 Pro (2500mW laser) running T2 software. I successfully burned a couple easy projects without any issues. This fall and winter I tried to burn Christmas projects, however I began to run into inconsistent results. I tried to tighten everything down, made sure the belts were tight but not to tight, and adjust parameters in the software but have not seen any improvements. Looking for further guidance and suggestions.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff!

It’s great to hear that you’ve been able to complete some projects with your EleksLaser A3 Pro! However, I understand how frustrating it can be to encounter inconsistencies, especially with your Christmas projects. Here are a few suggestions that might help improve your results: First, ensure that your laser is correctly focused on the material's surface, as small adjustments can make a significant difference. Next, experiment with different speed and power settings in your T2 software, as slight tweaks can lead to better engraving or cutting results. Also, make sure your materials are clean and free from dust or oils, as these can affect engraving quality. Lastly, if you're working on larger projects, consider giving the laser some cooling time to prevent overheating, which can lead to inconsistent results.

If you're looking to upgrade or try a different machine, I highly recommend considering the Monport laser. It's very nice, easy to use, high quality, and affordable! You can check out their products here: https://monportlaser.com?sca_ref=5031521.ka374VZjm3. I hope these tips help, and best of luck with your Christmas projects! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
