A diode-pumped solid-state laser (DPSSL) is a solid-state laser made by pumping a solid gain medium, for example, a ruby or a neodymium-doped YAG crystal, with a laser diode.
DPSSLs have advantages in compactness and efficiency over other types, and high power DPSSLs have replaced ion lasers and flashlamp-pumped lasers in many scientific applications, and are now appearing commonly in green and other color laser pointers.
The following is the most representative DPSS laser-532nm laser. The maximum power can reach 10W. Let's check it now.

This is a 532nm green powerful dpss lab laser system. It is a 10W high-power laser with a cooling base at the bottom of the laser module. The light outlet of the laser module has a protective cover, which must be unscrewed before turning on the laser. It's outpur power is adjustable from 0~10W. The working mode has continuous working CW and modulation mode TTL & Analog switchable.
Pay special attention to 2 places when installing the laser:
There is a protective cover on the connector connecting the laser module and the power supply, which needs to be removed first. There is a pattern on the connector, which needs to be aligned and inserted. There is a protective cover on the light outlet, which must be unscrewed before turning on.
Matters needing special attention when the laser is turned on:
For high-power lasers, please wear green light protective glasses before operating. The laser cannot be directed at people, and even if the reflected light hits the human eye, it may cause permanent damage. The 532nm DPSS laser needs a warm-up time of about 1 to 3 minutes, and the max power is reached after 1 minute of startup at normal temperature.
