How to Debug the Fiber Laser Cutting Machine to Improve the Cutting Accuracy?

When the cutting quality of the fiber laser cutting machine is poor, it is recommended to conduct general inspection first. The main contents and sequence of general inspection are:

1. It is recommended to adjust the cutting height between 0.8 and 1.2mm. If the actual cutting height is not accurate, calibration is required.

2. Check whether the type and size of cutting copper nozzle are used incorrectly. If used correctly, check whether the copper nozzle is damaged.

3. It is recommended to use a cutting copper nozzle with a diameter of 1.0 for optical center detection. The focus of optical center detection should be between - 1 and 1. At this time, the light spot is small and easy to observe.

4. Protective lens check whether the protective lens is clean, free of water, oil and slag. Sometimes due to weather and climate reasons, the air is too cold and other reasons, the protective glasses are fogged.

5. Focus check whether the focus setting is correct. If the cutting head focuses automatically, be sure to check whether the focus is correct with app.

After the above five checks are correct, modify the parameters according to the cutting phenomenon of the fiber laser cutting machine. Then, how should the parameters of the fiber laser cutting machine be adjusted?

First of all, in the first half of the debugging of the fiber laser cutting machine, we can reasonably use some test paper and work-piece waste to spot to determine whether the focal length position is accurate, move the height of the upper and lower laser heads, and observe the focus of the laser cutting head. The size of the laser spot will change differently during the spot shooting. By adjusting different positions for many times, find the most concentrated spot position to determine the focal length and the best position of the laser head;

Secondly, when the light spot of the laser focus is adjusted to the minimum, spot shooting is performed to establish the initial effect, and the focal length position is determined by the size of the spot effect. As long as we recognize that the light spot of the laser is at the minimum, this position is the best processing focal length, and then the laser cutting work is started;

Finally, after the installation of the optical fiber laser cutting machine, a scribing device will be installed on the nozzle of the machine equipment, and a simulated cutting pattern will be drawn through the scribing device. The simulated pattern is a 1m square. A circle with a diameter of 1m is built in, and the four corners are marked with diagonal lines. After the drawing, use measuring tools to measure whether the drawn circle is tangent to the four sides of the square. Whether the length of the diagonal of the square is √ 2 (the data obtained by the square root sign is about 1.41M), the central axis of the circle should bisect the sides of the square, and the distance from the intersection point of the central axis and the two sides of the square to the intersection point of the two sides of the square should be 0.5m. The cutting accuracy of the equipment can be judged by testing the distance between the diagonal and the intersection.

To improve the cutting accuracy of the laser cutting machine, we need to timely adjust the parameters such as the focal length in the actual operation process in combination with the actual use, because the laser cutting accuracy will be affected by various factors.
