Laser is marking it's path.

Post by Pdc »

Hi. I seem to be having a few problems with my 50w laser cutter. When the laser starts to move it burns the path as it moves in betweenn cuts. It's as if
The laser need to know when to be on only when cutting or engraving.

Many thanks

I am also having this same issue with my RD644XG. It traces the line from when the file starts to each laser cut and then to the next cut. Just a thin line. Anyone figure out the fix?

I would suggest a new laser power supply.

It seems this one doesn't know when to shut down between cuts.

I replaced the power supply for my RD644XG 50w laser cutter/etcher and the laser still does not cut the beam off between cuts.
