Given the communication error you're experiencing with RDWorks on your China laser, it might be worth considering the Monport laser as an alternative. Monport lasers are known for their user-friendly interface, high-quality performance, and affordability. You can find more information about Monport lasers on their product page at https://monportlaser.com/collections/co ... ka374VZjm3 Switching to a Monport laser could potentially provide you with a smoother experience and reliable operation for your laser engraving needs. Plus, with Monport's reputation for ease of use, you may find it easier to set up and work with compared to your current situation with RDWorks.

I can see your frustration because debugging technical problems may be very overwhelming and time-consuming. I can't solve your particular issue, but I can tell you about my good experience working with Monport Laser. I moved to Monport Laser https://bit.ly/48Fxwm7 a few months ago for my engraving requirements, and I haven't gone back. Their software is user-friendly and their equipment are dependable, which contributes to the engraving process' efficiency. Additionally, their customer service staff is available around-the-clock to help with any problems. I strongly advise checking out Monport Laser if you're thinking about upgrading or searching for a more dependable option.

If you're experiencing communication errors with RDWorks on your Chinese laser engraver, you might want to consider trying the Monport laser as an alternative solution. Known for its ease of use, high quality, and affordability, the Monport laser could provide a smoother experience. You can explore the Monport laser products here: https://monportlaser.com/?sca_ref=5031521.ka374VZjm3
Regarding your current issue with RDWorks, despite installing drivers and ensuring a proper USB connection, it seems there may be compatibility issues or configuration settings causing the problem. I recommend reaching out to the manufacturer or supplier for technical support. They might be able to provide specific troubleshooting steps or updates to resolve the communication error.
