X and Y axis problem. DOES NOT MATCH THE ACTUAL LASER HEAD

Post by tonylgn »

I turned on the laser 100w 60x90 and the head keeps moving to parking position and hit very hard.
Both of sensors seems to work properly.
I checked on the controller 644xg and the values of x & y are 10000 each istead of 0,0 on the parking position.
I unscrew the axis and manually send th econtroller to 0,0 value. After turn off and on the machine the problem remain.
Also I tried to reset the cotnroller but nothing.
Anyone?

I think it should be the problem of limit switch.
It seems the limit switch doesn't work at all.
The laser head keeps moving to the park position,it should stop when trigger the limit switch.
Please make sure the X and Y axis limit switch are both working well.

If you're encountering issues with your Monport laser, such as the head moving to the parking position and hitting hard despite sensor functionality, there are a few steps you can take. Firstly, ensure all controller settings are correct and inspect wiring for any damage or loose connections. Update the controller software to the latest version to potentially resolve any software-related issues. If problems persist, contacting Monport's customer support for further assistance is advisable. Promptly addressing technical issues is crucial to maintain the quality and performance of your laser equipment. https://monportlaser.com/collections/co ... ka374VZjm3
