Hello new guy here both to the board and laser cutters.
I downloaded the RD works software and was wondering if anyone here was able to load it into autocad 2017?
I have it working in Corel X6 and X7 but cannot get it to play nice in autocad 2017

Re: RD works
According to my experience, the old Rdword V8.01.18 will be incompatible with AutoCAD2017.But you can save as DXF into rdwork

Regarding your question about loading RD Works software into AutoCAD 2017, unfortunately, RD Works is not directly compatible with AutoCAD. RD Works is primarily used for controlling laser engraving machines, while AutoCAD is a CAD software for creating designs. However, you can export your designs from AutoCAD in formats compatible with RD Works, such as DXF or SVG, and then import them into RD Works for laser cutting or engraving. If you need further assistance with this process, feel free to ask!
