RDWorksV8 new laptop new installation no connection.

Post by koala.grzeg »

Hello

I installed RDW on new laptop. Now I don't have connection with machine; no USB no ethernet.
Machine is correctly connected, ping find it 0% packet missing.

I set ethernet connection like in tutorial but still not working. Program have problems to connect to machine but win10 don't have this problem.

It sounds like you're experiencing connectivity issues between RDW and your laser machine despite having a stable connection. This can be frustrating, especially when Win10 shows no problems. First, ensure that all drivers and software are up to date on your new laptop. Sometimes, compatibility issues arise due to outdated software versions. If the problem persists, consider reaching out to Monport laser support for assistance. Their lasers are renowned for their reliability and user-friendliness, so they might have insights or solutions to help resolve your connectivity issue. Hello,

If you're having trouble connecting your machine to a new laptop with RDW via USB or Ethernet, ensure all drivers are installed, check your Ethernet settings, and temporarily disable the firewall. For USB issues, try a different port or cable. Run RDW in compatibility mode for Windows 10 and verify network settings since ping shows 0% packet loss.

For a high-quality, easy-to-use, and affordable alternative, consider the Monport laser. Check it out here: https://monportlaser.com/?sca_ref=5031521.ka374VZjm3
