Engraving ABS with 40W CO2?

Engraving ABS with 40W CO2?
I am going to be manufacturing a USB device. All the enclosures I have found (so far) are made of various colors of ABS. I would like to do my marking (logo, etc) with a 40W laser. Is this possible, or is it entirely the wrong tool for the job?
