He's already got it fixed Paul. The FS laser uses a Print Driver to send files to the controller. I can't believe its not covered in the manual.Thosikbuh wrote:can you please post some photos here?

Estimate laser cut/engrave time
I am looking for suggestions of software that can estimate how long a laser will take to engrave or cut a file. Alternatively, I would need software that logs the lasers use and duration. Specifically I will be using a 40w gcc laser pro spirit but it would be nice if the software could estimate time...

Depends on what you want to use it for. Lower-watt lasers tend to be better for fine engraving, while higher-watt lasers have more cutting capacity but at the expense of engraving quality. In terms of engraving quality, it's better to run a 40W laser in it's "comfort zone" than to run a 20...

What is the difference between the laser head on a kern laser (that can cut metal) and a regular run of the mill 150 watt laser system ? I know that the Kern laser is not a glass tube type laser but why can it cut metal ?
