Mine laser has a lot better quallity but not good yet
mine engraves ok at 300mm/sec 33% power and it is 50w

Very nice engraving futrelis, and I do like the galvo, just not an option at this point.
China has finally agreed it is not the tube or alignment. As of yet, they do not know what the problem is. I tried to scan a square with the interval set at 4.5 (yes 4.5)mm to see individual lines. The machine will only scan a solid square, yet the beam is small enough that I can cut a tiny line 1/2" into a piece of acrylic that is 1"x1"x 3/16" so it is not an alignment or focus problem.

Also i have uploaded a file ready to engrave (not needed to pass through photograv) on black granite/marble.
Set speed 300mm/sec, optimized scan, scan interval 0.1
and power make your tests.
This file engraves ok.
After engraving apply paint if you engrave on granite.

After using the SE for 1 month the hand grip is starting to shred anyone else noticed this ,anybody got a remedy for this poor quality sponge .
