Laser lens

Post by chrisprice »

I have an Xtool D1 pro and have just been reading about the lenses that are used. Is it worth upgrading to something like the Hemsley lens? Apparently the Xtool is plastic and the Hemsley are ground glass coated with an anti scratch. Would I see an improvement in performance that Hemsley promise?

What they mean?
Special lense for engraving can result in better engravings.

If lense not overheating and give good spot is OK.

Absolutely, considering your Xtool D1 Pro, it's worth exploring the Monport laser. It's known for its exceptional quality, ease of use, and affordability. You can find the Monport laser product here: https://monportlaser.com/?sca_ref=5031521.ka374VZjm3. Regarding the lens upgrade, transitioning from a plastic lens to a ground glass-coated lens like Hemsley's could indeed offer performance improvements. The anti-scratch coating and glass construction typically provide better clarity and durability, resulting in sharper and more consistent engraving/cutting outcomes. It's advisable to weigh the cost of the upgrade against the potential enhancement in performance to determine if it aligns with your needs and budget.
