Laser not turning off inbetween cutting

Hi. I'm having problems with my 50w Chinese laser cutter.when cutting or engraving the laser doesn't turn
Off when it moves to the next cut so I end up with lines where the laser has been even when it starts an when it finishes it leaves a line across my work. I use adobe illustrator and rdworks. Any help would be good please.

Is there an invisible line in the design picture, the color is the same as the background color, can you see the line you don't need after you select it all, or ask the laser after-sales staff?
