Hello, I just bought a Benbox (I think, that the only thing it said in the auction) 500mW laser engraver off Ebay and I've been trying to get it working with no luck. I downloaded the benbox software and somehow got the laser to work for a minute on full power (when I tried to focus it, it started burning. Now the benbox software says it's disconnected and I'm lost. Do anyone have any idea how to get this thing to work ???
Here is the Ebay link if it helps...

I bought a Chinese laser recently. 3000mw. Just a bunch of parts in a box. No instructions or software. I found this site most helpful.

You have to upload the firmware into the controller.
Hope this helps

Given the challenges you're facing with your newly purchased Benbox 500mW laser engraver, it might be worth considering the Monport laser as an alternative. Monport lasers are known for their user-friendly interface, high-quality performance, and affordability. You can find more information about Monport lasers on their product page at https://monportlaser.com/collections/co ... ka374VZjm3 Switching to a Monport laser could potentially provide you with a smoother experience and reliable operation for your laser engraving needs. Plus, with Monport's reputation for ease of use, you may find it easier to set up and use compared to your current situation with the Benbox engraver.
