Solution comparison on 5W Engraving Laser Module

The Pro 455nm 5W/20W Focal Adjustable Engraving Laser Module with TTL/PWM Modulation uses LD+FAC+C-lens solution (solution A). Other similar products mainly use LD+C-lens solution (solution B). Let’s make a contrast between solution A and B.
  • Solution A: There is no efficiency loss when laser module works at 30mm working distance. Its optical output efficiency is more than 97%. At the same time, we can get smaller beam size with this solution at the same working distance.

  • Solution B: There is around 24% efficiency loss when laser module works at 30mm working distance. At the same time, we can get bigger beam size with this solution at the same working distance.

  • It can be concluded that LD+FAC+C-lens solution has high output efficiency under the same working distance.
